Since fiber-cement board is a very abrasive material that wears down normal carbide very quickly Tenryu has incorporated special grade carbide tips in their Board-Pro Series. The Board-Pro Plus series takes it one step further by using PCD (poly-crystalline diamond) for an even stronger blade and longer cutting life. The BP-18505 Board-Pro Plus blade is designed especially for thick (stacked) material. PCD tips produce a smoother cut. This blade also has a thicker plate for longer life.
